100 days, Warm Weather & Trip to the ER

What a weekend!!!
Thursday was our 100th day of school ~ only 80 more to go!
Jackson was so excited about all the fun activities planned!
A few of his friends in his class ~

I found this in Mary Dalton's folder ~ how sweet is that???
Dalton is such a good Daddy to our children! I am so thankful God sent him to me, he makes life so much fun and is always looking out for us!

Mary Dalton and Marti Ann were ALL smiles about the 100th day of school!

Maggie and MD stopped by for a visit while I was teaching....

Whitney and MD later on that day ~

We have had some warm weather and it has been WONDERFUL! I LOVE it! I wish it would stay this warm, but I think we have some yucky cold weather headed this way! We spent the weekend at the cabin. Last night, we sent Jackson in to get his coat and as he was coming down the loft, he fell off the ladder, about 8 feet onto the hardwood floor. Dalton and I were outside but heard the crash and Rhett scream, then Jackson crying. We first thought his fingers/hand might be broken, but then realized the HUGE knot on his head.
We took him to our Dr and she recommended he have a catscan bc of the height of the fall. We also wanted to rule out that he did not have a slow bleed. It was a scary, horrifying 2 hours to finally have the "All clear" but we are once again beyond thankful that God protected our little boy! Those prayers of protection, can't say them enough!

He had a rough night, his head hurt most of the night, but he still wanted to check trap lines with his Daddy this morning! ;) He is supposed to "take it easy" for 48 hours and then he should be good to go! Thank you Lord for you CONTINUED protection!

We did not have much luck with the trap lines, but Rhett killed a bird and that entertained Jackson for a good hour! ;)

Yep, that's a bird head...he pulled it off and thI then cut it up with his knife....fabulous....I got a feeling I am raising a hunter!
We stayed home from church today after our wild night. We are all super worn out and are about to crash so we will be ready for another week!
