Sweet Mother Sue ~

Dalton's sweet grandmother, "Mother Sue," went to be with Jesus after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was so soft spoken and so kind. She was a true Southern Lady who handled everything with such poise and grace.

Mother Sue has been in LA in a nursing home for the past 2 years, so my children have not seen her since they were 3 and 4. Mary Dalton does remember "Boo" as she calls her, but Jackson does not. Mary Dalton is having a hard time dealing with her death, even though we have only been upbeat about it around her ~ talking about how wonderful heaven is and how fabulous it will be when all of our family is there together! Mary Dalton is SO SO SO sensitive and any little change/disturbance throws her for a loop. Because of that, they did not attend the memorial service today for Mother Sue, but rather went to school and had somewhat of a "normal" day.

Mother Sue will be missed so much, but we are so thankful that God chose to take her home so she did not have to suffer any longer and we look forward to the day when we will all be together in heaven!

Please say a prayer for Dalton's precious grandfather who also has Alzheimer's and just lost the love of his life.

"He will wipe every tear from their eye. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Revelation 21:4
