Entrepreneurs, Informercials and Sleep Overs!

Random title for the post ~ maybe so, but that's what we have been lately! ;)

The kiddos have been camping out in my room since DDD is out of town ~ Jackson HATES to sleep with anyone so he opted for a pallet ~ he slept with his pretend gun every night just in case there was a break in! ;)

Prissy Jane slept with me ~ no pallet for thsi girlie! :) She wanted to stay up to midnight SO bad ~ she would ask and ask how much longer??? She finally said, "I just don't know HOW Cinderella did it!" :) I have mentioned before that our children LOVE LOVE LOVE an infomerical! That's where they first saw pillow pets, blendy pens, zhu zhu pets, the giant cupcake maker...and the list goes on! They have been talking for DAYS about a "gyro bowl" and last night the commercial came on while I was in the shower ~I heard SCREAMING like someone was dying, so I run out of the shower to discover I had just missed the gyro bowl commerical and how they each needed one more than they needed air. I went back to the shower and when I got out, this was on my bed ~

It says, "Dishwasher safe, gryo bolw, does not spill" Or at least that's what is should say ~ inventive spelling at its best! ;) They even knew the website! I found them on ebay last night and we ordered 2 for $6.99 each instead of $19.99 plus TEN dollar shipping! They should be here later this week and I must admit, that they look pretty cool! We eat in the car EVERY morning on the way to school and if this keeps them from spilling their cereal/crackers/etc. it will be well worth the $7. Stay tuned for that!

My 2 are ALWAYS wanting to job ~ really, they want a pay check and just like to say that they want a job! Anyway ~ the latest thing that they have come up with is below:

"I keep cats and turtles, birds, chicks and lizards (LOVE that spelling!), caterpillars ~ call 7065472623 Mary Dalton's Pet Busnus. $10 Ten dollars please. Thank you."

She has gotten Jackson to agree to keep dogs (she's scared of them) so they later added his name to the sign! ;) She wanted to hang this on the stop sign in the neighborhood and wait to be called. So ~ if you have a chick, liserd or cattpillra ~ give my 2 a call! ha!!!

They want to set up stores all the time ~ they want to sell painted rocks, flowers, old books, etc. Hopefully all this creative energy will help them in the work force someday! ;)

We had a great morning at church after being out for several weeks for different reasons. After church, the kids rode their bikes to Suz and Big's house. JDD was having issues and MDD was aggravating him about how well she could ride and how he needed to keep trying. Big Daddy said, "Jax, that's how all women are..." MD said, "How?" JDD said, "Stingy!" Not sure how being stingy relates to riding your bike, but he sure thinks it does!

MDD recited John 3:16 while taking a break and said, "For God so love the world that He gave His only FORGOTTEN Son..." Precious Girl!

Jackson was trying to teach me to play Angry Birds and I am NOT very good ~ he said,"You would think you would be EASY to teach since you ARE a teacher, but that is not how this is going! LOL

We are excited about our week off of school ~ we have some fun things planned and I have several recipes I am planning to try! Should be a fun week! :)
