We made it to MS in one piece ~ Praise the Lord! I was SO SO SO glad to get my babies back on Sunday! I missed them terribly! While I waited on them to arrive in Leeds, AL ~ I found a GREAT outlet mall. I am not much on outlets, but this one was amazing...or maybe it was the fact I was alone and could look! ;)
We got to Natchez about 8:30 Sunday night (9:30 GA time) so it was a LONG day! The kids were so funny ~ looking everywhere, trying to take it all in!
They have spent most of their time in the tree house ~ they LOVE it! They went to the the Dollar Tree with Nana and RACKED up on art supplies, so that kept them entertained for HOURS! I went to the Kelly's Kids Outlet and got several things for friends back home who asked me to look for them. I also bought myself one of my FAVORITE candles ~ Circle E! Can't wait to burn it! :)
My Daddy made Jackson a bow and arrow ~ you cannot imagine how proud JDD is of it! He has already told his Daddy he needs to buy him a target! ;)
Today, we went to the Indian village ~ Jackson was in HEAVEN! We were able to learn alot about the Natchez Indian tribes. We also ventured down a LONG nature walk and somehow got lost! It was an adventure to say the least! This afternoon was filled with lots of popscicles, a trip to the snowcone stand, tree house fun, learning to play bad mitten, and a fishing trip for Jackson!
No super big plans for tomorrow ~ just going to enjoy the time we have here! We are all missing Dalton, but know he is getting LOTS done at the farm while we are gone and will be ready to "play" when we return!
**I asked Dalton's sister to post a blog entry about the childrens' trip to TN! Look for that later this week! I can't wait to see what all they did while they were there! Thanks Aunt Sue-anna and Uncle Amos for a GREAT time! I know that they made memories that will last a lifetime! :)
