I can't believe July is already here!!! We have been enjoying being at home and playing this week! Of all things the kids want to play ~ their choice has been SCHOOL! I am the teacher...imagine that...and actually don't mind playing because it is a great review for them!
I gave Mary Dalton some math to work on and girlfriend NAILED it!!! So proud of her!!
Jackson goes over his sight words and is reading soooo good! Mary Dalton works more on math when we play!
Of course we have spent LOTS of time in the pool!!!
Jackson has been praciticing snorkling!!!
Friday morning we headed to Augusta! There aren't many days we are actually dressed, so I had to get a picture of my sweeties in real clothes...not swimsuits!!
Jackson was NOT excited about going shopping!!! I took the stroller and he played Angry Birds so it worked out great! I think he will be 15 and still riding in the stroller playing games while I shop!
We came home and of course headed to swim! Jackson was soooo excited because he managed to catch a kitten!
Mary Dalton bought pop rocks at Target! She LOVES LOVES LOVES pop rocks!!!
She made treat bags for all of us to enjoy with her candy she brought! She is so thoughtful and was SO proud!!! :)
Sallie Ann went with us on our excursion!!! She is a TROOPER!!! I bought a new swimsuit and the little logo was coming off...never fear...Sallie Ann stitched it right back on! :)
Jackson used his money to buy some new goggles!!!

We had several families over on Saturday and rented a slip n slide for the kids. It was delievered on Friday night so we got to play on it early!!!! Let me say ~ IF you think you are in shape...come play on this thing! I have muscles that hurt that I did not know I had!!! I am SOOOO sore, but it was soooo fun!!! Dalton even played with us on it!
We played until the sun went down and then CRASHED!!!! We were ALL worn out!
Jackson had a BLAST on Saturday! We had BOYS for him to play with!!!! So thankful for our sweet, precious friends that celebrated with us!
Mary Dalton and Ansley were outnumbered!!! One day, they will be excited abotu this! ha! :)
We had friends here from 10 until late afternoon and it was SO much fun! After everyone left, I started some laundry and cleaned up...and you guessed it...back on the slide and pool! By 9 ~ we were ALL 4 in bed!
It was a GREAT weekend!!!
My favorite part of the fun was when Mary Dalton and I both slid at the same time and we were in the pool at the end of the slide and she said,
"Mama, thank you so much for this fun day! I am having a blast!"
And that ~ made it all worth it!!! :)

Looks like ya'll had a great time. Hope we get to take part next time. Ask Sallie who taught her to stitch-ask her if she remembers the hospital dolls?
