We have been BEYOND busy around the Dowdy's house!!! Dalton's campaign for Solicitor is in full swing ~ we have some type of engagement almost every night...not to mention all the "behind the scenes fun!" We had company this past weekend, my sister and her crew are coming this weekend, and next week is Nationals for dance....
Thankfully, we had time this weekend to have some fun!!!
Of course we spent time in the pool!
we woke up EARLY Saturday morning to take the new fishing boat out!!! I cannot BELIEVE that Jackson not only woke up, but woke up SMILING!!! The boy must love fishing because us HATES waking up! ;)

We fished at a friend's pond ~ it was BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Jackson was PUMPED ~ until his line got tangled and his new $70 rod broke! :( I was trying to get it unstuck and the stupid thing broke! He was HEARTBROKEN and I felt SO bad!!!
We fished THREE hours and caught THREE fish ~ not my kinda of fishing...I like 20 fish in 20 mins! He cheered up some and used another pole....and even caught the 1st fish in the new boat! :)
We moved to the spillway to try them there ~ they just were not biting!!!
The only fish caught was by Jax!!!!

LOVE the look on MDD's face ~ by this point she was hot, sleepy and OVER fishing...but of course looking stylish in my glasses! ha!
It was a fun day ~ the boys went back Sunday morning and caught TONS! Jackson caught an 8 lb bass!!! Mary Dalton & I opted to sleep in!
I know we will enjoy using the boat and make lots of fun memories!!!
