Introducing Tom Sawyer ~

I got an email from the man that heads up our local community theater a couple of weeks ago. Basically he said that they were doing Tom Sawyer and were "short a couple of boys" and was wondering if Jackson was interested in filling a role. He said he saw him in the school play and thought he did great and would enjoy this...
We missed try outs, but showed up for the reading of the script last week.
There were 2 others boys who were also reading for parts...

Now I have NEVER seen Tom Sawyer, but when Jackson read that part with Tom's girlfriend, Becky Thatcher, (played by our favorite girl Whitney Sue) ~ I got a feeling he might land the lead role...
They are freaking PRECIOUS together!!!!
And what do you know...
He's Tom Sawyer!!! 

He has 142 pages of lines to memorize ~ practice starts in February and will run 8 weeks, then two weekends of the play. He is SO excited about this and has already learned the first 25 pages of lines! I was planning for a supporting role to say the  least, but we have ourselves the lead actor!
