Christmas Fun

Well, we are officially on Christmas break… And we could not be any more excited!

We started our break with a fun oyster roast at Sooz and Big's house! 

Linda and CArl were in town, and we always love seeing them and catching up!

We also made our yearly batch of Christmas cookies! It was so nice this year, I went into the study and watched a movie with Dalton while the kids made the cookies and decorate them. I just showed up to clean up and that was it! I had a great time and we have tons of yummy cookies!!!

We also travel to Glenville for family Christmas. Jackson came down with a cold or what I like to call the Christmas funk and he was not feeling well. He found a couch and managed to sleep for a good hour and a half with tons of noise going on! This was the only picture I took all day, but we had a nice time catching up with our family we don't see often. 

Mary Dalton had her close friends over for their annual Christmas sleep over. We were sad that Marti Ann could not join us but she was out of town. These girls have been getting together for probably four years now and I look forward to this each Christmas season!

I'm so thankful for the sweet girls and their friendship!

And Jackson is thankful his sister has pretty friends! ;) 

They had a gingerbread house decorating contest and since Marti did not show up, Jackson took her place!

We let our Facebook friends vote on the best gingerbread house and Whooty won!!! Big D handed over the $10 prize!!  

Monday we spent the day at home, cleaning up and getting ready for Christmas! Tuesday we spent the day in Augusta doing some last-minute shopping and at dental appointments. 

I've picked up Jackson's germs and been laying low today! It's raining and I'm hosting girls night tonight! Great day for a nap!!!
