We were able to go to the coast for memorial weekend!!! We have not been down in years and we were so excited to get it! We left a soon as graduation was over Friday night which put us down there around 11:30.
Brinson and Blake went with Mary Dalton and Jackson. It worked out great because we put the boys at the Little cottage and we stayed at the big house.
We got up Saturday morning and prayed like crazy that the boat would crank after being put up for the year… Lucky for us it worked perfectly!!!!
We spent most of the day on the water… And we had the best time! Our kids are at such fun ages and we love hanging out with them and their friends. We tubed and then we headed back to swim off the dock! Mary Dalton did she’s a sweet one for her first boyfriend!
And Jackson and Blake had a blast as well! They left us after they tube and went and did some fishing off the dock.
While they finished, the lovebirds rode the tube! We actually saw a saltwater alligator while they were riding! Talk about freaking you out! They were actually off the tube at one point and three dolphin swam up right beside them! Mary Dalton almost had a heart attack!!!
The cutest captain ever! He absolutely hates summer Time, the beach, etc so I was so excited he agreed to go!!!
The kids were so well behaved! Not that I expected them to be anything less… But it’s so nice when you can take teenagers off and they know how to behave!
This girl is mine… Good Lord she’s growing up so fast!!!!
Dalton taught her how to drive the boat and just for a minute it was a glimpse back to when she was a little girl. She still adores her daddy!!!
Out of allllll the fishing the boys did..leave it to me to catch a shark on her first cast!!!
We left Monday afternoon around four but not without a quick stop by the smallest church in America.
It was such a fun weekend and I hope we get a chance to go back this summer
